Crossing over Prophecies/Factions/Nightfall - Guild Wars Forums

Hi. I am a newly addicted player and am considering to purchase Factions/Nightfall. I want to know how long it will take for a Factions character to reach Prophecies maps? Someone told me that the run is about 9 hours..I hope that's not the case.

For Factions characters, you must complete the first two missions before you reach the guy that can take you to Tyria or Elona. Depending on how many side quests you do, this could be done in a few hours. For Nightfall characters, you must complete the first three missions. (I believe so. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.) For Tyrian characters, you've got to make it to Lion's Arch, and you can pay someone to run you there if you're not that far yet. The actual quests themselves are fairly easy. Then it's just a matter of using the map to travel from one game to another.
